Go It Alone
Drew Harrison
In 1997, after the unfortunate break-up of TED302, depressed, I decided to head to Galway, Ireland to busk alone across Europe, to start from scratch, to just sing a song, and find my joy in making music again. I shipped my batch of our recently completed CD (about 700 CDs) to Galway, Ireland to sing them and sell them on European street corners, making my way eventually to the Czech Republic. Life began anew for me there. I played a lot of festivals, made a lot of friends, and wrote new songs. Some of the best times of my life. I returned to the States eventually and recorded "Go It Alone". I call it my "busking album". It's just a my voice, an acoustic guitar, and those songs I sang for my supper with across Europe, the US, and in Central America. Hope you'll enjoy a listen. They are for download sale here, if interested. I am grateful.
